2010 News Herald
When it comes to hard drive failure, its not IF its WHEN!
After shooting the 2010 News Herald and spending the next week editing and fine tuning the photos, my main hard drive died.
All of my photos are safe and backed up in several places since I know hard drive failure will happen. The raw photos were backed up, but the copies of them that I was working on were not. The only thing lost was some time and work.
Everything is back up and running. Now I only need to edit and fine tune them again. They should be on the server in the swimming gallery within the week.
